Impostor Syndrome is REAL!

Imposter syndrome is effin real.

Especially when all of the people you knew growing up are now professionals and recognized in their respective fields.

Not everyone recognizes your skills and talent when you don’t have a title before or after your name (at least in my experience). Or when you don’t do a standard 9-5.

It’s not that I want to be validated or noticed. But it feels demeaning and belittling when your work isn’t seen as work but rather as a hobby.

I got used to it and see it as when you’re a creative, you only consider or see recognition from other creatives.

We've been named one of Peerspace's best 8 product photographers in the Raleigh, NC, area!

We love what we do and will keep creating commercial images that our clients and their audience will love.

And this is a legit creative platform. And for me, to be seen by such is equivalent to being awarded merits and certificates on stage.

I am thankful for platforms like this (@peerspace) for seeing creatives like me.

Your worthiness is not based on how many followers you have or how viral you get.

I am a commercial photographer, and I am effin proud of what I do. 🖤📷📸
